ACAF open meeting 3 March 2010

How personal information may be used by EHSS

EHSS uses the information to help us understand how our site is used and to be able to send you relevant communications of interest to you.

Information Collection 

When you are on the EHSS website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with EHSS. When you use the secure online payment facility you are using the service of a partner company (such as PayPal for example) and it is clear when you are entering secure payment pages from the EHSS web site. The transaction that occurs on with the secure online payment facility is separate to EHSS and EHSS does not have access to your bank details.

Information Sharing

EHSS does not share information that will personally identify individuals. Currently, only in circumstances where you give permission or when required in law would we release personally identifiable information, and, as mentioned, your banking details submitted through a secure online payment facility are not known to EHSS. Your options relating to information collection, use and sharing. If you indicated that you are interested in receiving information about EHSS then EHSS will gladly send you communications by email or by post. Information is not shared. You may request at any time you no longer wish to receive communications from EHSS and such communications will cease, though this may take up to one month upon receipt of your request.

Update, correction or removal of information about you 

The accuracy of the information about you is important to EHSS. If you change email address or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please use the contact options such as email or postal address on the EHSS web site, ehssfirst.com, to notify us in writing. You can also contact EHSS in this manner to formally request what information we have about you on record.

Information Protection

EHSS remains constantly committed to taking reasonable steps to protect individual identifying information. EHSS does not share or distribute individual identifying information. EHSS does not collect personally identifiable from children. Children should always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to anyone online. Security of Information No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, EHSS cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

Transaction security

Please be assured that any credit or debit card details you provide will be processed, transmitted and stored with the utmost care and security. All credit and debit card payments made on this website are processed by a secure online payment facility ensuring that EHSS does not have access to or store your banking details on the site. Transactions are encrypted between your browser and the server of the secure online payment facility. No personal or financial details are left unencrypted on a remote server, and such details are never sent by e-mail.
